The weekend comes to an end (again)
Yet another weekend is coming to an end and another month closing. ever since I started full time employment the years seem to go pass so quickly and yet I don’t seem to achieve much. The Kman and I will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary at the end of the month, yet it doesn’t seem five minutes ago when we were putting the final touches to our big day, it will soon be Christmas again and then the whole routine starts over.
Thats enough of the moaning now.
It has been yet another glorious weekend, with temperatures up in the 20’s. I don’t know whether it is down to global warming or that the earth is just going through a hot spell, but I am enjoying it, don’t know if I will be quite as cheerful when summer gets here and the temperature rises even further (I don’t cope too well with really hot weather as I suffer from Asthma). Anyway the Kman and I have had a quiet weekend at home and managed to do a bit of tiding up and planning what to do over the Bank Holiday next week.
Here’s to another week at work and keep smiling

I, personally, do not suscribe to all the hysteria over global warming. If you look back over the last 2000 years England has gone through phases of cold and hot weather that is outside the ‘norm’.
The Romans planted vineyards as far north as Nottingham, because the weather was so warm. In the time of Queen Elizabeth 1st, the Thames regularly froze over, and even in Victorian times you could skate on the Thames. People then said we were going through an Ice Age!!!!
I think that all this government hype is just so Gordon brown can get more money from us in taxes, so he can waste on his per projects, like employing more spin doctors; wasting it on the NHS, which, despite having billions more thrown at it, still seems to be going down the pan.
Still nice warm weayjer means I can spend all my spare time on the beach in sunny Bournemouth.
Oh the pressure………………………..
