Blood Brothers by Willy Russell
On Thursday 10th May I went along with a group of work colleagues and my mum to see Willy Russell’s musical “Blood Brothers” at Milton Keynes Theatre. This had been the second time I had seen it and I was not to be disappointed.
My friend Michelle who I went to school with had taken me to see it last year as it had starred her boyfriends brother Craig Whiteley , who plays Eddie, the posh twin brother. His performance was brilliant along with the rest of the cast, especially the actor who played Mickey. He managed to capture the actions and body language of an 7 (nearly 8)) year old boy and then transformed himself to a depressed 20 something towards the end of the play.
I don’t want to say too much about the show but would highly recommend that you go and see it should you have the chance. It is a powerful and emotional show.
Thanks to Craig and his fellow actors for an entertaining evening
Score: 10/10
