Something I should have done years ago.

Well its been a number of years in the making now, but finally I am only weeks away from launching my first ecommerce website. Having designed a number of products over the last two years, which I have successfully sold to audiences on eBay. I decided that the time was right to now go it alone, and leave the safe confines of eBay (not to mention the extortionate fees) . Initially there were a few hiccups in obtaining a merchant account to accept credit card payments, but in the last 3 days this has now finally fallen into place. With the final last minute design tweaks now being made to the website, and lot’s of new products being uploaded. I can now start to plan my marketing strategy. Hopefully all will be revealed in the next couple of weeks, watch this space!

When embroidery machines turn bad!

Just in case there isn’t anyone out there who doesn’t already know this. Yes I am am man, and yes I own and operate my own embroidery machine! There I said it now :) - As I was making a cap the other night, a strange noise began to emanate from said embroidery machine (PR600 for anyone interested). On closer inspection I soon realised that my cap was actually stuck firm within the machines grasp. After eventually cutting the cap free I then flipped down the bobbin housing to reveal the mess you can see in the photograph below. It was quite a shock, and took some time to get sorted.
