Bournemouth sea front Aquarium, macro Yellow fish.

We decided to take a trip down to Bournemouth last weekend, and whilst there went to the Aquarium on the sea front. With my trusty macro lens at the ready I snapped this little Yellow fish through a rather dirty tank.

Ella Update - She has been Found !!!!

After nearly 3 weeks we received a phone call from a vets in Newport Pagnall to say that Ella had been found alive and well abiet being slight thin. As you can imagine the Kman and I rushed over there as soon as we could and we are pleased to say that Ella is now fast asleep in her basket.

Our thanks go out to the lady from Milton Keynes who kindly handed her in, no words can express our gratitude for your kindness.

We have brought Ella some lovely food to fatten her up.

Welcome home Ella !! :D

Mad Dogs and Englishmen….

On Saturday 19th May Dad and I decided to go down to the beach so that I could have a paddle in the sea. It had been windy for most of the day, but was sunny. My dad had recently purchased a wind breaker (shaped like 1/2 tent) which we put up quite successfully in the high wind. We were not to be deterred by the fact that the only people on the beach were the kite surfers.

Out of the wind the weather was lovely but the sea was freezing. It several minutes for the feeling to get back into my toes!! :) After about an hour and half we decided to call it a day and head back up the “zig-zag” and have a lovely cup of tea.

We had great fun and I am sure we were great entertainment for people walking along the sea front.

All alone on the beach :)

Bournemouth

I have just come back from spending a few days down in Bournemouth. The hotel was lovely (apart from an extremely squeaky bed) and the weather was very windy but dry and fine.

On Friday my dad and I cycled to a place called Hengistbury Head it was a four mile ride along the beach and then a walk to the top of the hill. The view was fantastic and so clear that we could see the Isle of Wight. The cycle back was not as pleasant as the wind had picked up and we were both sandblasted!! We cut through Boscombe Park, which was beautiful and arrived back at Dad’s apartment suffering from slight wind burn.
